The New Jersey Propane Gas Association's mission is to  educate
the public, the media, the industry and legislative and government officials
as to the safety and efficiency of propane and related products.
The NJPGA has served the New Jersey propane marketers for more than 50 years. It is a non-profit organization designed to promote the utilization of propane as an energy source. The NJPGA annually sponsors academic scholarships and other state-wide awards and honors. Created in June 1993, the Howard Card Safety Award is given out each year to recognize an individual and his/her company for the commitment to safety or for contributing to a safer industry.
