Howard Card Safety Award Winners

The safety award is named after Howard Card, a 23-year veteran of the New Jersey Highway Patrol. Mr. Card was responsible for the regulatory oversight of the propane industry, including enforcement of safety codes. The award was established in his honor after his death in May, 1993. His wife, Doris, and daughter, Donna, accepted the first award on his behalf.

Hart, President of Duck Harbor Energy Consultants LLC and Ed Seugling, former Fire Chief for the Sparta Township Fire Department for "Leadership, Dedication and Service to the NJPGA and the NPGA in the promotion and support of Safe Propane practices on the local, state and national levels" during the NJPGA Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner at the Trenton Marriott Downtown on June 27, 2011.
